I offer a variety of services that include: phone coaching, in-person therapy, workshops & seminars, great Behavior Breakdown classes, and spiritual consults.
Not sure what phone coaching is? Phone coaching is a cost-effective, time-efficient way to get support for you and your family from the comfort of your own home.
Covering a variety of topics, suited to you and your needs, phone coaching can help if you:
- Have lost hope and thought that you weren’t a good parent.
- Feel like your child despises everything that you say.
- Feel alone and like throwing in the towel because you didn’t sign up for this.
- Have questions after having completed one of Bryan Post’s books, CDs, DVDs, or seminars.
- Need professional support and assistance in applying information to your child or client from someone who understands your situation.
You will be able to present specific situations and concerns and gain personal specific feedback and recommendations. You will also receive a free audio download of the coaching call for your review and referral.
Phone coaching can be conducted with the client or with a minor’s parent(s). Phone coaching is also available for professionals looking to enrich their counseling methods.
Phone coaching begins with a FREE 30-minute consultation. You will then fill out a questionnaire. Based on your needs and situation, I may have you do homework assignments or review educational material. I will then schedule your phone coaching session. To get started, please click below to purchase a session, then telephone me at (660) 562-2531 to arrange a time for your FREE 30-minute consultation.

Experienced, licensed counseling for individual or family help. Traditional 1:1 and family counseling rates are $85.00 per hour. If you need intensive work, I can arrange to see you and/or you and your family for half-day sessions. I am also available to come to your home for an intensive, extended period of time. Rates for intensive work depend on time in the home, travel, and lodging.
Workshops & Seminars
Available for staffs, professionals, or groups, these presentations define the concepts of the Stress Model and provide a general overview of the love-based approach in healing children with severe behaviors. Ken will develop a specific workshop or seminar to meet the needs of your group or organization. Fees are negotiable and depend on location, travel, cost of materials, and length of workshop.
Great Behavior Breakdown Classes
Classes are based on Bryan Post’s book, The Great Behavior Breakdown. This is what is being said about the book:
This book takes the foundation of attachment theory and brings it alive in the face of the most challenging behaviors that parents may face when parenting children with early attachment disruption histories. Rather than focusing on behaviors, Post goes into the very root of the cause and gives parents simple and concise guidance on how to respond in a manner that will help re-establish secure attachment where it may once have been lost.
Sir Richard Bowlby
Covers core concepts of the Stress Model, an in-depth look at lying and a three-phase intervention, in-depth look at stealing, containment, defiance and feedback loops. Introductory classes are usually free when participants purchase The Great Behavior Breakdown Book and workbook.
2-Day Intensive Class
Covers all 27 behaviors discussed in The Great Behavior Breakdown Book. Costs are negotiable depending location, travel, and number of attendees. The Great Behavior Breakdown book and workbook are included in the fee.
Family Relationship Classes
These 10 classes are based on Beyond Consequences Logic and Control Volume I. The book is taught chapter by chapter. You and your parenting support person (husband, wife, parent, co-parent, teacher or anyone who lives close to you and interacts in person with your child regularly) will be able to participate at your own comfort level. There will be slide shows, videos, discussion, role play, and Q & A sessions in an interactive and emotionally safe environment.
You and your parenting support person will also be able to network with other parents who are dealing with the same issues you face.
Do you find yourself stuck or struggling spiritually? Do you feel caught between secular psychology and Biblical principles? I can help. A spiritual consult will help you identify the compatibility of the two. I will help you find strategies to strengthen your faith as well as meet challenges in your life. This can be done in person or through phone coaching.
