Does this sound familiar?
“I’ve been to several conferences, workshops and read numerous books on trust based, love based, therapeutic and trauma informed parenting strategies. I’ve listened to the CDs and watched the DVD’s recommended by the experts. How do I apply these strategies in real life situations with my child(ren)? I’m frustrated and I’d love to ask the experts about my child and our specific situations. What specifically do I do in the moment?”
This 3 hour session will help provide you with the effective actions to respond to, rather than react to, your child’s challenging behaviors. You will learn the right words to use. You will learn the right thoughts to think. You will learn how to calm yourself, calm your child, and connect your family even more. You will learn how to incorporate these strategies into your parenting style. Learn to start living them rather than just trying to do them. You will gain understanding of how to identify and get past your own emotional triggers and let go of the old regrets and pains.
Who should attend? Parents, grandparents, and anyone who works with or takes care of children who have challenging behaviors. Anyone who wants to develop a deeper understanding of traumatized children and ultimately create a more meaningful relationship with them.
